can be yours too
This month-old, no-frills eatery in Serangoon Gardens sizzles amazingly juicy chicken encased in light-as-air batter and swathed in a variety of delicious sauces.
If you like the 4Fingers style of Korean fried chicken, try this version from Yogiyo. Our fave: this unami, perfectly balanced Sweet Spicy version ($5.50 for four pieces, $7.90 for six) that comes with plastic thimbles for clean eating. Have it on its own, or paired with fries or rice.
If the Yogiyo name sounds familiar, it’s because the brand is big in Seoul’s Hongdae district. But this Singapore branch is independently owned and run by a pleasant Korean lady who trained at the flagship outlet before bringing the concept here and developing her own menu to suit local palates. Yummy, especially with an ice-cold Hite beer.
